Connecting Atlanta’s Air Cargo Community Since 1969
On October 6, 1969, representatives from several Atlanta-area air cargo companies came together to establish the Atlanta Air Cargo Association.
Its founding members represented Certified Air Carriers, Air Freight Forwarders, IATA Agents, Air and Truck Motor Carriers, ACI Pickup and Delivery Contractors, Customs Brokers, Warehouse Operators, and other allied services.
Together, they created an organization dedicated to connecting and strengthening Atlanta’s air cargo community.
Our Mission
The Atlanta Air Cargo Association was founded to:
- Promote the interests of professionals working in air cargo transportation by establishing a strong network of industry contacts.
- Encourage the exchange of ideas and provide a forum where members can share information, discuss common challenges, and stay informed about trends and developments within the air cargo industry.
- Support professional growth, education, leadership, fellowship, and a shared sense of purpose among those working in air cargo transportation.

More than five decades later, the Atlanta Air Cargo Association continues to honor the vision of its founders. We remain committed to bringing industry professionals together, encouraging collaboration, developing future leaders, and supporting the continued growth of Atlanta’s air cargo community
